ChatGP What???
2 min read

Hey there Boomers!!!
Well, a lot has happened in the world of AI this week (and the world in general).
Anyway, is anyone else losing track of all the chat bots???
ChatGPT 3.0, ChatGPT 4.0, Gemini 2.0, Alexa ..... and on and on it goes. Why are there so many options to choose from? And does it matter which one you choose?
The world of AI is changing fast, but don’t worry—you don’t have to learn everything to benefit from it! If you have a smartphone, you already have access to AI tools that can make life easier, from answering questions to setting reminders and even helping with entertainment.
So, what’s the best AI assistant for you? Let’s keep it simple:
For iPhone Users: Stick with Siri—it’s built into your iPhone and works seamlessly with Apple apps. You can use it to send texts, make calls, set reminders, or even ask general questions like, “What’s the weather today?” It’s hands-free, so you can just say, “Hey Siri” to get started.
For Android Users: Your best bet is Google Assistant—it’s smart, fast, and great at answering questions or controlling your device. Just say, “Hey Google” to set timers, get directions, or check the latest news. If you have a Samsung phone, Bixby is another option, but Google Assistant is usually better.
For Fun and Learning:
If you want to chat with an AI, try ChatGPT (available on both iPhone and Android). It’s great for answering questions, writing messages, or even helping with hobby ideas. You can download the ChatGPT app or use it in a web browser.
Get down with the kids:
My favourite AI powered App this week is AppFace. Apart from the obvious issues with body image that the app poses, it can actually be a bit fun downloading it on your phone and having some fun with the kids.
When my son told me that he didn't look that good in a photo on his birthday recently, I sent him some alternatives (I even decided to make myself look 10 years younger - giggle):
No need to get overwhelmed—just start with what’s already on your phone. AI is here to help, not to confuse! Give it a try, and let me know which assistant you find most useful!
